Welcome to Booking Bible
Your new booking platform is live — here is what to expect and where to find things.
- Bug fix·
Live preview and member live player work in current Chrome
The **Go Live** preview and the web live-class player could stay on "Connecting to stream…" in current desktop Chrome while the encoder was connected and online viewers on other players saw the class. Chrome now reports built-in HLS support, but its built-in player could not play the live stream, and the page retried that same path every few seconds.
- New feature·
Hide individual classes from the schedule
The web schedule's class actions offer **Hide from schedule** for scheduled, cancelled and past classes, including recurring occurrences and one-off classes. This hides only that occurrence, without cancelling it or changing bookings, attendance, charges, refunds or notification choices. Historical corrections and series actions keep their existing meaning.
- Bug fix·
Course and workshop schedule brand filters
Brand-filtered schedules now use the linked workshop or course brand when an occurrence has no explicit brand. This keeps a course from appearing as an unbranded class under another brand. Explicit occurrence overrides, recurring class inheritance and additional display brands remain available.
- Bug fixBillingNotifications·
Gift emails write dates out and brand gifts carry the brand's footer
Gift emails now write their dates out in full, in your venue's own time zone: "This gift card expires on 24 December 2027". That covers the gift email to the recipient, the buyer's receipt for a scheduled gift, the reminder before a gifted membership ends, and the notice when a gift card is used.
- ImprovementBillingNotifications·
Gift cards bought on a brand's website stay with that brand
When a gift card is bought on one of your brand's own websites, the gift email to the recipient and the receipt to the buyer now come from that brand: its name, logo and sender address. The Redeem button opens the brand's own redeem page, which you set under Settings → Brands → the brand → Gift redeem page. Write the full address with {code} where the gift code goes. Without it, the Booking Bible

Keep marketing consent per brand
Venues that run several brands can now keep marketing consent per brand. Turn on **Keep marketing consent per brand** under **Settings → Brands → Marketing consent**. It is off by default, so nothing changes unless you turn it on.
- ImprovementMarketing siteBilling·
One payment for a membership introduction
Venues can configure one introductory payment covering several rolling billing cycles. Checkout states the total paid now, the period it covers, the next normal charge and any required full-price commitment. Class allowances continue to reset on the membership's monthly schedule during the introduction and follow the normal renewal schedule afterward. Existing purchases retain their terms.
- ImprovementMarketing siteBilling·
Choose the brands covered by an offer
Venues with existing brands can configure an offer for the whole venue, one brand, or a selected combination. The editor, review and offer pages show its brand scope. Members choose a brand when a combined offer needs one; a brand's own website keeps checkout within that brand.
- ImprovementMarketing site·
A clearer introduction for Client Benefits partners
The [Client Benefits partner page](/benefits/partners) now explains how to propose an offer, agree the details and verify eligible clients using a phone camera. The application is grouped into business details, the proposed offer and staff verification, with optional appointment-service eligibility settings.
- ImprovementClasses·
A reusable studio guide before website bookings
Opted-in branded websites can remember the studio guide a member has completed and show their active extras.
- ImprovementPaymentsPassesPoint of Sale·
Payments keep the brand that sold them
Payments keep the brand of the pass, booking or order they pay for; staff can choose it at the desk and record it for older brandless passes.
- Bug fixNotificationsBilling·
Clearer choices for platform account messages
Optional platform staff messages preserve the original choice and clear billing design.
- Bug fixNotificationsBilling·

- Bug fixNotifications·
Email branding follows the venue identity
Venue names no longer select platform branding in shared email layouts.
- Bug fixCoursesNotifications·
Course changes respect your notification choice
Course transfers and withdrawals notify participants only through channels selected by authorised staff.
- Bug fixCoursesNotifications·
Course messages use their brand and show delivery outcomes clearly
Course messages start silently, use the course brand's email design, and separate queued messages from sent messages.
- Bug fixBillingNotifications·
Card expiry notices use the venue wallet and shared design
Card expiry reminders verify the subscription wallet, preserve the original reminder and use the venue's logo and account link.
- Bug fixSettings·
Brand communication previews show the configured design
Brand communication previews render the configured colors, font stack and layout under the page security policy.
- ImprovementStreamingBookingsSchedule·
Live rooms open 15 minutes before class at the configured venue
The live-room opening and first-admission window follow the venue's auto-stream lead, while the post-class buffer remains five minutes.
- Bug fix·
Brand settings protect concurrent edits
Brand editors will check that the saved brand has not changed since you opened its draft. If another administrator has saved a change, your draft stays open and the save stops. Choose **Reload saved brand** to replace that draft with the current saved values before editing again.
- Bug fixBillingNotifications·
Renewal recovery notices follow their send rules
Failed-renewal notices use the declared venue or staff send choice, and failed SMS attempts keep their original retry reference.
- Bug fix·
Card update requests show their actual sending result
The card-expiry report's Send reminder action verifies that the client is active in your venue and that you have permission to contact clients and send notifications. Card badges require permission to view the client's profile.
- Bug fixPaymentsBillingNotifications·
Refund receipts show the recorded destination
Completed refund receipts list the actual return method; gift-card cancellation and cash refund notices now describe separate events.
- Bug fix·
Course and session emails follow their assigned brand
Booking confirmations, guest invitations, waitlist updates, class reminders, cancellation and restore notices, roster messages, and course enrollment updates now use the brand assigned to the booking, session, or linked course. The same sender selection applies to immediate messages and background delivery.
- Bug fixInvoicing·
Credit notes respect the issued invoice balance
Client credit notes now use the issued invoice's amount and tax, including its discount, and refuse a credit larger than the balance remaining to credit.
- New featureMembershipsBilling·
Members can add Flexible membership extras later
Members with an active monthly Flexible membership can add eligible recurring extras from their account, paying only for the time until the next renewal.
- Bug fixPaymentsBillingNotifications·
Payment receipts follow the reason for each collected charge
First membership payments and the first full-price payment after an introductory offer use the purchase receipt setting; later renewals use the recurring receipt setting. A charge collected after a failed-payment notice gets a confirmation receipt.
- Improvement·
Recover an interrupted product card sale
Original-reference recovery can finish a verified product payment after interrupted card authentication once the release is qualified.
- Bug fixPayments·
Account-credit refunds check the original payment currency
A payment in a different currency cannot be turned into venue account credit. Refund it to its original payment method instead.
- Bug fix·
Receipts use the original payment currency
Email and PDF payment receipts display amounts in the currency recorded with the payment.
- New feature·
Exact gross price books for one-time catalog purchases
Money Settings lists exact gross currency prices for the venue catalog; ordinary products, services, packages and bundles remain draft-only.
- Bug fixGift CardsPayments·
Refund a gift card from Today's sales
A gift-card sale in Today's sales has a Refund button again. It returns the money to the buyer's original online payment and removes the refunded value from the card, so it can't be spent afterwards. A gifted pass is always refunded in full.
- Bug fixClients·
Merging duplicate client profiles works again
Reviewing a possible duplicate showed an error ("Minified React error
- Bug fix·
Password recovery respects two-factor verification
Saving a password with a recovery code preserves two-factor verification, and connected checkouts can display the exact version of venue terms.
- Bug fix·
Clearer messages when sign-in is temporarily unavailable
Password sign-in now explains temporary service failures and excessive attempts, and avoids starting account recovery during those failures.
- ImprovementSchedulingPassesNotifications·
Set complete booking rules for each brand
Brand overrides include workshop and course booking windows, daily limit scope and notification timing, with venue fallback for each omitted field.
- New featurePassesBillingMarketing site·
Review residence-based membership prices and tax markets
Recurring passes can offer reviewed gross prices in several currencies while billing residence determines tax and unavailable markets stay closed.
- Bug fixPaymentsBillingMemberships·
Receipts and membership emails state each member's real recurring price
The recurring note on a membership receipt, the "First payment" on a future-start confirmation, the "Final payment" on a cancellation email and the gifted-membership price now come from the member's own membership terms instead of the catalog price, and an introductory offer says when it ends and what follows.
- ImprovementPaymentsBillingPoint of Sale·
Re-issue a refund that Stripe canceled, without double-charging your venue
When a completed refund is later canceled or failed in Stripe, owners and finance staff can re-issue it from the payment page. Bookings, accounting and your venue balance are never adjusted twice, and new refunds wait until an open refund problem is resolved.
- Bug fixNetworkBusiness App·

Ended or declined professional collaborations can be restarted with Re-invite, and pending invitations can be re-sent, on the web and in the Business app.

- ImprovementScheduleNotificationsBusiness App·
Clear Email, SMS and Push choices when you cancel a class
Cancelling a class now has separate choices for booked clients and the instructor, each channel shows who it reaches, and the instructor can be told by Email and Push without notifying clients.

Check-in separates streaming clients, responds instantly and shows new bookings
The class check-in list now shows in-studio clients first and streaming clients in their own section, checks a client in without reloading the list, adds a Refresh button and shows a client who has just booked within seconds.
- Bug fixBillingMembershipsBusiness App·
Membership termination works again, and paid renewals are recorded
Staff can terminate memberships again, refusals say why, abandoned attempts clear themselves, and renewals paid after a failed attempt are recorded automatically.
- New featureBookingsPassesSchedule·
Choose whether workshops and course sessions count toward the daily booking limit
Two new switches under Booking Rules decide whether workshops and course sessions count toward "Max Bookings/Day" and toward pass daily limits. Both start on. The daily limit now counts only bookings at your venue, per location unless you chose venue-wide.
